Once upon a time
Once upon a time
there was a young mademoiselle named Cassandra,
who was very much in love with a young gentleman named
William. William was a little awkward a little quirky, studly,
and very very sweet. The two were quite perfect for one-another.
The couple's fifth Valentines Day was coming up, and both
mutually knew that they had to make this
pre-determined holiday of romantic expression
especially special.
Now,
William had a particularly large passion for Starwars,
and as her luck would have it, that weekend was the release
date for Starwars in 3D, complete with a plethora of previously
un-released scenes and enhanced special effect goodies.
The cogs in her brain started grinding, and she started dreaming up the
ultimate Starwars valentine.
She jumped into her her swiveling office chair and scoured the internet
for the best deals on the Starwars Complete Saga on blueray.
The next day she picked up one of the Darth Vader Collector Tins
from work, and ventured out with her dad to collect the tickets.
She acquired a limited edition droids heart shaped pin, and when
the box set was delivered she fastened the bow around the package
like Vader's Cape.
Meanwhile, William was busy concocting plans of his own.
...
Valentines Day morning, Cassandra woke up to cuddles and kisses.
William was eventually able to coax her out of bed,
despite the fact that the pillows
were perfectly soft and the bed was nice and warm,
and the two got all gussied up for the day. William blindfolded her once
they were in the car, and the two set off for a grand adventure.
"We're here," William cooed, stirring Cassandra from her sleep.
She took off the bandana and blinked blindly, retinas burning from the
sun. In front of them was a worn-down building with a large spray-painted
sign that read Eurotreasures Antiques. Cassandra squealed in delight.
The day was filled with antiques and boutiques, vintage coke machines
and sunshine-yellow owl-shaped containers with chapstick butts.
There were girls passing out homemade Valentines Day cards
on the street corners, kitty-cats who matched the interior decor,
and bellies filled with good vegan food from Sages Cafe.
When they came home they watched the Emperors New Groove
until they fell asleep.
The day was absolutely perfect.
The end.
